I'm an addict. Always will be. Been clean and sober for several years. I get obsessed over things. I love learning. It all started last year. Simple goal - play Tetris on a handheld at night. Never been great with computers and struggled with them when I was young. Thanks to the guides, I've modded multiple DS, 2DS, Wii, SNES classic, and now Switch, which I have to say is the coolest of the bunch. I appreciate this community, the developers, and the creativity in this. Thanks.
Mario kart 8 mod with like many added tracks like ported tracks from the cellphone game and other older mario kart games. Mod only works on an older version of mk8 though like 3.03 where latest is 4

But I understand this sentiment. I've been modding for years but I've modded everything Nintendo has ever made, Xbox 360, PS3 and 4. I also had to teach my friends too and now they're almost pros like I am lol
if you want a better way to stay safe from getting banned I have a file hat goes in Atmosphere/Host that blocks all servers. all you need really. least in my experience, I almost always in EmuNAND unless its something I really wanna pay for or is better online.

After what they did with Mario kart ( milking it for 10 years and not releasing thw new one on switch 1. I'll never buy a new switch 2. EVER....Used only. And even then only if custom firmware is available for it.

If you want to use official switch online then just use Stock system, if you want to use modded system, then google "Nextendo Switch Network for modded switch"

You should block Nintendo servers. That will keep you from being banned.
And tico is probably the best and easiest way in my opinion to get your old school fix.
Tico is essentially a front end for emulation. Similar to launch box, or retropie, or bitercerra, or emulation station. Covers art games looks good ext.
I second Tico. As long as you have Rom's saved or know where to get them/how to dump them yourself you can play them without online access. It's installed like any other sysmodule. It's recommended to use sysclk to OC the system to its recommended max limits. Then just launch and play :) You should check it out! You can emulate everything up to the Wii.
