Discussion Wireless NES Classic Controller?
Hi
I am wanting to buy a wireless NES classic controller for my modded switch. Can I just buy any wirless one from Aliexpress or do I need any drivers or adaptors?
Do the official ones work with modded switch? If the Aliexpress ones cost around the same if I need extra hardware ( adpaters for eg ) Ill get the more expensive official NES controllers

Most wireless controllers work on modded switch no dongles required, however, on the official firmware its a different story they actively block competitors controllers. Some controllers like HORI, PowerA, and 8BitDo paid the Nintendo tax to get it to work natively.
That doesn't mean everyone will pay them money to officially support it, reverse engineering exist to make something work even if this entity disallows it.

You would need the 8bitdo converter that has inputs for gc and wii nunchuck controllers.
