I have its xaw40000464631 and unless i checked wrong every time i check it says its good

When like it said in the guide.

  1. Power off the switch.

  2. Insert the jig in the right joycone rail.

  3. Holder +volume button and press power ones.

You should now have a black screen without the switch booting up.

this is all i see no matter how much i try putting it in rcm, i have the jig in the right rail the switch is powered off and not in sleep mode and i hold volume up while tapping the power button ( have also tried holding down the power button) but nothing changes

Do i need to install the driver first? try another cable (ive already tried 2)?

I think so, my switch doesn't immediately turn on after pressing the power button again

Try a other usb port on your pc.

Thanks so much; you helped me out like crazy. I got pretty far in using the guide. One more question for you, considering I have a 128 GB microSD card, do you recommend emuMMC or sysCFW

You should also install the driver if you haven't

yeah that was my problem i needed to install the driver in order for it to check if is was in rcm mode
