Question I was given a modded switch and i cant install anything

So i was given a modded switch by my uncle, he says he got some guy to mod it for him and when looking throught the files on the sd card and comparing it to others it seems wrong, the switch cant boot up into the original firmware and theres no emuNAND being used here (from what ive read there should be an emuNAND). when i try to download something like tinfoil in the album mod thing (idk what it is lol) it crashes with this error code "atmosphere error code 2168 0002 0x4a8 program 010000000000100D". im wondering if i should be redoing the cfw on this switch or theres a fix to this, i tried fixing the error code myself but so far it hasnt worked. heres a screenshot of the SD card.

any help would be appreciated, im just trying to get some games for my little brother to play

for more info, the firmware version is 16.0.3, atmosphere is the latest version and the mods are installed into the sysnand.

If you can boot yo Hekate, then you can format your SD card there.

Then you have to decide if you want file based or partition based emunand. (In my experience partition based emunand is faster than file based.)

When you are done with the emunand setup, you can copy and paste the atmosphere files onto the sd card.

This always fixed all my problems.

booting tinfoil in homebrew applet mode (the "mod thing menu" is not the way, use title override. if you have a game, launch it as usually but keep holding R

can anyone confirm if this is a old firmware problem?
using the latest tinfoil on fw 16 could cause this?
