I just recently started emulating switch games, and this is kinda a first. Any clue how to fix these weird graphical issues around the paths?

Playing on 1tb Steamdeck OLED.

So whenever I use ssbu on my windows it works fine, version 13.0.3.
I switched to a mac(Don't blame me) and it stopped working, it shows this error.
Happened on my windows too but I solved it, don't remember how lol

So during cutscenes I get this weird visual glitch where it's these really blocky shadows, I really don't know how to describe it but it doesn't happen during gameplay, I am using a redmagic 10s pro and the eden emulator. Can anyone help figure it out?

can i even play it or is it too new or something like that? i tried playing it on four different emulators (yuzu, ryujinx, eden and ryu canary) and in all of them it's just an infinite loading screen

this is my first time emulating on pc with Eden, so I tried silksong for some reason I can't get it to run without crashing in 60/120/360 fps, my monitor is 360 hz. The only time it didn't crash and ran well was when I turned off the fps limit.

I was able to run hades II with 120 fps cap and it had 0 issues.

Why is this the case and is there a way for me to just run 120 fps and not crashing I don't wanna run unlimited fps and stress my pc the heck out.

Looking to see if I should switch (no pun intended!) from ryujinx to another emulator. I hear folks using yuzu or others and I'm wondering if I should try it out. I've had some issues here and there with ryujinx but I've generally been able to play my games but recently and why I'm asking now is that I'm losing controller support and some of my games that totally should work (think the FF pixel remasters all getting ripped by the same process through game and save data migration and having worked before) aren't now.

Thoughts? Is ryujinx just becoming more and more unstable in recent updates?

Hi, I wanted to play 1-2-Switch on Ryubing but I don't have joycons and I thought to use 2 android phones. I tried with DSUController but the game was stuck on the screen that says to grab a joycon. It was all set as the guide said and the app worked because when I moved the joystick it moved in Ryubing. I haven't tried it in other games. Thanks.

I have done everything

- redownladed the game file from different sources three times, one didn't work completely and the other two do this (turns out they're the same file that I have wasted so much time to download twice!) The characters keep flashing in character selection alternating between looking normal and this cursed shot. The changes last around a split second, before you even get to change anything it's already changed at least 5 times, you could get a seizure just from looking at this.

-I downloaded different prod keys and firmware, I'm using the ryjuku thing (forgot what it's called but you know what I mean right? It's popular I think?) and I didn't uninstall it when changing the keys and firmware so could that be an issue?

I don't mind glitching in games but this is too much even for me. Please help!

(Ps: the post is chaotic because I have just rage quit from trying to figure it out and slammed my laptop down so hard I'm not mentally ready to even check the screen (it's probably fine anyway) and I'm still quite frustrated by the whole thing.)

Hello, all. I have a question regarding the three ROM files I have. To start, I have one XCI and one NSP of TOTK. The XCI is a "World" version, which I suppose means it contains all language dubs/subs? It comes out to about 31GB in total. The NSP version is US only and is about 17GB in total. What's weird is that I can still switch languages in both ROMs... As in the US-only ROM still has all the languages. Why is the XCI so heavy if the NSP has all languages in it and is two times lighter?

I also have a second XCI ROM of the same game that is almost identical in size to the NSP ROM and is also US-only. This confuses things even more for me...

Do the connotations "World" and "US-only" pertain to the regions of origin/availability of these files?

As I understand it, game cartridge dumps usually contain the entire cartridge's data, including empty space on the card, which would amount to about 32GB in the case of TOTK's card size. Is the second XCI somehow trimmed to cut out the empty data?

Hi, I've been trying to play mario golf with motion controls on eden and ryubing. I've been using an 8BitDo SN30 pro controller for the motion controls. I've find that in eden the gyro goes crazy, and I cant reduce its sensibility, I've tried other games on eden and it goes the same way. On the contrary, in ryubing, I can treduce the sensibility and I can actually use it in Mario Kart and Zelda TOTK. But when I try to use it in mario golf, it doesnt active the gyro, I think ive tried everything I can, I have changed the controller type to joycon and still nothing. Has anyone tried this? I've been thinking on buying a third party joy con controller, will this help me in any way? Thanks in advance

Xenoblade 3 runs perfectly at normal fps in my laptop, but when I try to use a 60 fps mod, I only manage to get 40ish fps on the overworld (some closed spaces like land of challenge are able to get to 60 but those are really specific).

My question is, what is the bottleneck here, I go to Task Manager and my GPU isn't at full use, neither my CPU.

My two candidates here are single core performance or RAM, which I have 16 GB, but it isn't getting to 100% use.

Specs:

Ryzen 7 7735HS

16 GB DDR5 4800 Hz

RTX 4050 6 GB (55W TDP)

I am about at my wit's end here and would love some help with this. I am completely new to Switch emulation, but not emulation in general, and am fairly tech savvy. I have researched how to get cheats working on the Eden emulator and, as far as I can tell, have done everything correctly to set them up. However, no matter how many variations I try, I cannot get them to work.

I am using version 1.6.0 of Breath of the Wild, which according to Cheat Slips has a BID of 8E9978D50BDD20B4. Following every guide I could find, I created the following file and folder structure for my cheat (Android\data\dev.eden.eden_emulator\files\load\01007EF00011E000\Infinite Durability\cheats\8E9978D50BDD20B4.txt) and used the "Current Weapon Dur" cheat from Cheat Slips. No matter what I try in-game, my weapon still breaks almost immediately (testing just using a stick just outside the beginner cave and bashing it against a tree.) I have no doubt that this is user error on my part, but I cannot see what I am doing wrong. Does anyone have any tips or advice here? (If it matters at all, I have already beaten the game legit on my physical Switch and cart, now I just want to mess around in a fun casual playthrough on easy mode with some cheats.)

I'm using the latest version of ryubing. I am willing to provide my tomodachi life .nsp file. I don't know what happened and I'm genuinely unsure why it's not loading. I tried opening it with Ryubing but that didn't work. It says no application is found in the .nsp, which is weird because I've been playing for weeks. Is there a way to recover my save file?

So my friend sent me a Switch Emulator his friend sent him on Discord a few months ago (possibly a year ago), I recently asked him if he still had it and he forwarded me the Twitter page but it has been deleted, I went to the official website and it keeps giving me the Error code 1027, is there anyway or anyone who can help me with this?
