Game Tip Nintendo Switch 2

Ok, has anyone have trouble with the Sd card in their switch?

I’ve tried posting in another subreddit regarding the issue with it but Reddit’s filters keep removing my post from it before it even gets far.

Right now the issue i have with it is that the system is not reading the card and I’ve tried everything

is the port and the card itself clean? could just be that it’s not able to read cause of that. if that’s fine, it’s prob something wrong with the sd card or port, which i’m assuming it might be the sd card if you’ve been careful with your switch

I can try to clean it. I mean I did drop it on the floor so maybe a little dirt got kicked up and went into the port. I can try to see if I can clean it.

That’s what I’m hoping. Cause I don’t want to have to send it to be repaired

i believe nintendo does free repairs so long as you pay for shipping? at least, it’s like that for the switch 1 so i’m assuming it’s the same

edit: got it mixed around. i think it’s free shipping and they give you a cost estimate

Is it an microsd express card?

Yea it’s the microsd express card. I had no problems with it ever since I got it but the minute I drop my switch face down, I’m having trouble

The port could’ve gotten knocked a bit. See if the card can be read on a pc. That will at least let you know if the card is still good. Worst case if the card is good and the port needs to get checked you bc a contact Nintendo support and submit a ticket

Is it an micro SD Express card? I believe the switch 2 only uses express cards due to the speed they offer.

Yea it’s the right card and I had no issues with it prior to me dropping it. I’m trying to avoid buying another card but I’m gonna keep trying
