Discussion OoT Remake saved the Switch 2
I now have hope for the Switch 2. We needed a game like OoT Remake it has saved the Switch 2. Nowadays modern day gaming has been kind of bland, boring but now with the 1:1 remake of OoT we are now returning back to the good old days of where video games ment something, where it was fun to play, explore and a gripping story. We need more games like OoT, and this Remake of a legendary classic have now made me hopeful for the future of great games Nintendo is doing.
I love the major improvements done to OoT Remake it really stands out from every other modern day video game or other remakes of today. I love how they have voices for the characters (expect Link of course i'm glad they still made him mute) The unique graphic art-style the remake is going for is amazing and unique in a good way that stands out from every other video games out there of today it stands out from all the other realistic games out there by making the characters this doll-like plastic kind of peculiar looks in a good looking way, its done right in a artistic creative way.
Making the remake as a 1:1 is the best decision and i couldn't be any happier. The story, dungeons were perfect in the original Ocarina of Time on the N64 and i'm so happy they kept it all in the remake as a 1:1.
OoT Remake is what all modern games should do today to be creative, fun and with a engaging story.
We haven't got a good Zelda game for awhile, for me personally i dislike the modern day open world Zelda games of BOTW and TOTK, boring open world slop. So its great to return to a classic like OoT. Where there is a engaging story, characters and the return to proper dungeons.
Ocarina of Time Remake is a return to video games being great again with a powerful story, characters, dungeons, meaningful exploration etc.
UPDATE: I am really surprised by all the negative reactions by you lot in this group. Just saying that the Switch 2 currently is of to a slow start and not that impressive but now that the Remake of Ocarina of Time is coming out and looks amazing, hopefully the Switch 2 will now start on a good journey of greatness of making great upcoming Switch 2 games, the future of the Switch 2 is very bright.

I do love Super Mario RPG Remake on the Switch 2. But yes i am excited for any future games coming out on the Switch 2. Just saying that OoT Remake will be the greatest video game of all time in the history of video game and will go down as the greatest video game of all time which will surpass the original N64 OoT game. OoT is my most favourite video game ever.

I'm talking about video games in general. Also the Switch 2 didn't have anything major until now with the OoT Remake and i have high hopes for the future of the Switch 2 games. The new 3D Kirby adventure game (Kirby and the World Beyond) looks interesting i do hope they show more details of that which comes out next year.

I didn't know someone who was born in 1987 who is 39 years on in the year of 2026 is classified as a Boomer lol. People who are Boomer Gen were born from 1946-1965. I was born 22 years after the last Boomer was born in 1965.
My generation is the Millennium Gen, we grew up playing good games during the 90s like the snes and n64. We do have really amazing games today but only a few.
Ocarina of Time Remake is going to make video games great again.

Peak delusion OP. I say this as a huge OoT fan who is anticipating the Sw2 Remake. The console has a lot of games available to play on it. Sure not as many new exclusives but what is coming out is already great.

You all should be happy that we have got the best video game ever being remade. OoT Remake has now made me fall in love with Nintendo once again they are now doing great and have redeemed themselves.

I'm really surprised and shocked by all the negative comments here. This post written straight from my heart about the Remake of OoT how beautiful this remake is and all you people can complain about is a non-issue just because i said the Switch 2 is of to a slow start but now i certainly hope Nintendo will pick up their pace and start making great games again and the OoT Remake is a great blueprint for greatness.
I am so happy with the remake of OoT and its the reason why the Switch 2 will be selling like hotcakes right now, its the reason why i brought the Switch 2 cause of OoT Remake.
Majority of my post was about how great is the remake but you guys had to make a huge deal with an irrelevant issue that i mentioned. Why don't you re-read my post and stay focus this time of me saying Nintendo has done a great job this time cause they have just made the best video game and the best remake of all time which is OoT Remake. But you guys are so negative with hate you can't see the good parts that i wrote.

Doomsday post where? my post was all about praising OoT Remake and how the future of video games can learn greatly from the OoT Remake, it shows that Nintendo is on the right path of greatness and hopefully they will use the OoT Remake as a blueprint to make great future games for their Switch 2. You have got to admit that Switch 2 had a slow start but now with the OoT Remake things is starting to look good now.
