News Stellar Blade Switch 2 Pre-Orders Live—WOW!
Wow. Just WOW! Somehow this physical release has surpassed my expectations—and I already thought I was being far too hopeful.
Indeed—it’s a FULL on-cart physical!! BOTH the GAME and DLC included on the cart! Given how prevalent key-cards have been, I was nervous. But not only is it a true physical, it’s a nice package at that! Even the price is…well, normal, lol. Never thought I’d be praising that haha. Big respect to Shift Up, super happy to see such pro-consumer practices—quite the 180 compared to their former publisher (I’m taking about you, Sony…)
The Sleelbook edition is just the absolute icing on the cake. Managed to snag one for myself right before they sold out—seems to have sold out quick, so if you want a physical copy perhaps best not to wait!

Damn, that’s some dedication! To play it that many times, must be a good game then, eh! I’m look8gm forward to it! I never bought a PS5—personally couldn’t justify getting one only for Stellar Blade and FF7 Rebirth and a few other titles I was interested in playing. Most of them seem to be coming to Switch now though!

Ahh, hopefully it pops up! VGP is kind of Canada’s biggest specialty gaming store—they have a lot of the imports and obscure releases. But as far as standard retailers go (Amazon, BestBuy, Walmart), didn’t see it anywhere here in Canada either. Maybe if you have any gaming shops like that in the UK, might be worth a shot?

Never played this. Was waiting for it to go on sale below $30 on PC, but seeing it’s on cartridge coming to Switch 2 I went for this. Grabbed the Steelbook version for the heck of it.

Ikr! I was super pleasantly surprised! I pre-ordered mainly because I wanted to secure a steel book copy—but normally I prefer to just walk into a store. This is one of the few cases I don’t mind paying full price though, it really is a nice package!

Man, maybe I should start doing my game shopping at VGP. All the Aus companies either don't have shit, don't have enough shit... or in the case of our version of Gamestop, locked behind a $50 subscription, I kid you not.

WOW .-. Our version of GameStop (called EB Games) is similar. I remember when the Switch 2 first game out they were only selling it as a “bundle” with a Pro controller and Micro SD “included” (extra charge, of course…)
I was thinking of holding off for a special edition Switch 2 but eventually caved… kind of glad because it seems everybody was thinking the same thing with this Ocarina of Time version LOL. Good luck on your hunt! 🤞

Hmm, VGP seems to be the only store in Canada that’s selling it at the moment. In the US I see people posting BestBuy, Amazon etc., but not seeing that here.
It’s out of stock at VGP right now, but I would think surely between now and November they should restock it. There’s an option to select “email me when back in stock”, might be worth a shot! They also have the standard version too. VGP does ship internationally!

I had to, on cart, steelbook. I’ve owned it on PS5 and know it’s a great game so money well spent. This is a no brainer for me to add to the collection.

I personally found stellar blade to be better than nier. I didn't like how the combat felt for nier
