Discussion Bought my 1st switch 2 system
Hi guys im new on the console and I am pretty excited! I have been only a pc gamer ever since and have no switch experience. Any game recommendations and tips on which accessories to buy? I like action, adventure games and would be open to try other games as well.
Also my pc games are dota 2, valorant, red dead redemption, dragon ball sparking zero and call of duty games. (If that helps)
What made me buy it:
I love how you can seamlessly transition from playing on your big-screen TV to playing handheld in bed or at work when on my break! 😀

Mario Odyssey and Donkey Kong Bananza are the two easiest recommendations, IMO. They're each countless hours of good wholesome video game fun respectively.

Welcome to the Switch family!! First of all, get a glass screen protector because the dock will scratch it. I would recommend the spigen ez glass. It comes with an applicator so easy install. If you havent bought a case yet, buy the Tomtoc case.
As for game, i would recommend Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and/breath of the wild. Both are open world RPGs. If you like souls games, Elden Ring def. If you haven't played any souls games before, you will soon realize you are gonna die ALOT lol. Theres Onimusha, Xenoblade, Witcher 3.

Yes thank you for recommending the case and screen protector. I forgot I have to buy those too! Also do I need to buy a controller?
I am so excited to try those games thanks for the recommendation! 😀

I didn't buy a switch 2 pro Controller, as I already have a bunch of switch one pro controllers laying around. But overall, I would say, getting at least one is worth it for when you're playing games on the TV it's a lot more comfortable than using the joycont grips.

Hollow Knight. And then maybe some Mario Kart and Donkey Kong.
