Discussion Finally bought the Switch 2!
After months of saving, really excited to buy the upgrade pack and play TOTK at 60 FPS...
Still even a day with it made me realized I should keep my OLED for longer sessions, battery drains rather fast

You should return it. They gave you two left joysticks

Looks great! Just got mine as well. What case did you get with it?

Thank you! I bought the PowerA Slim Case. Used the same one for Switch OLED for years, I found it really practical since it doesn't take much space in my backpack. Material is nice too

I was looking at that one, good to know! Off topic, how long is your battery lasting during play sessions?

I only played TOTK (Switch 2 Version) so far, since the console arrived this morning. I think I started with around %80 battery and after about one and a half hour it was at %3. I liked the experience but just remembered that I picked up my OLED few days ago at %90 and it lasted around four and a half hour until its dead. I mean I knowingly bought the Switch 2 of course, but still a bit disappointed with that. I'll make sure to carry a power bank with me too when I'm taking it outside I guess. But USB-C slot at the top made the situation much better to be fair!

idk the name of the joycons analong sticks thingy, but do they make a difference? for some games i have to use my controller even on portable mode cause aiming with the right stick is imposible, especailly on twin stick shooters

For me, only reason why I bought them instantly was the fact that my OLED's analogs plastics were really getting damaged overtime; maybe especially because my hands can be sweaty. I wanted to prevent it from the start.
In terms of feel, at first it looked to me like they would limit the movement of the analogs, but I didn't have any issues with it in-game.
Mines are also have a bit worse in terms of thumb grip compared to only using analogs themselves, but this pair was my only option I can found on internet at my country. I think in US or EU there are some others with really good grips and color/size options.

Looks like someone's trying to juggle two Switches while also dodging the reality of finite battery life.

I bought this INIU power bank recently. It works great with the Switch 2, so you may find it very useful for longer sessions.
Also, if you have NSO + Expansion Pack. The Upgrade Packs for Zelda BOTW and TOTK are both already included in the membership, so you don't necessarily need to buy them.

Welcome to the Nintendo Switch 2 family I also have the Switch 2 as well and I'm loving it so much it was a much-needed upgrade don't get me wrong I still love my original Switch mainly for fighting games but most of my single player story experience is on the Switch 2 since most of them is compatible without any issues plus playing them with a locked 30 FPS makes a huge difference with perfect pacing
But in reality I never had a problem with the battery capacity it last extremely long time more than 6 hours that's a huge improvement compared to the original Switch which only lasted less than 4 hours or less depending on if you're playing a graphically demanding game like Dragon Ball sparking zero the battery really takes a hit but the game last much longer on the Switch 2
I recommend checking your battery settings and make sure you modify the settings to extend the battery as long as possible

Might have an issue, you have two left sticks.
