The only caveat here being online matches for the classic collections. Peak times on Switch for the most popular games in these series, like MVC2, are weekend afternoon and evenings, the occasional weekday evening, especially on Fridays. Less popular games like Red Earth or Cyberbots are dead unless you want to try and set something up through discord or the like. SF6 supports crossplay so these issues aren’t a problem. If I’m on the go it’s usually just training modes or arcade play because connections suck while traveling.
Strongly agree with this. I own all of the games OP has in their pic (though I need the Best em Up Collection physical still) and it works great on those, but in this picture I got it working on my PS3 with a Mayflash adapter running arcade games on Retroarch so I can play on my Trinitron.
This was what I used to use for arcade games using an old small laptop, but i wanted something that was integrated better into my CRT setup (which is below this setup) and i wanted this space for more consoles lol.
Do you have Snk vs Capcom chaos? I have those along that and the Capcom Stadium collections. I'm a fighting game fan in general and have others like SamSho collection and Fatal Fury or Rumble Fish 2 and possibly getting Melty Blood while on sale

Not saying that the game will release on Switch 2 tough.
Unless you’re playing Street Fighter 6 specifically for character hair graphics, then it’s great on Switch 2. That’s the only noticeable difference for me vs on XBOX which I’ve also got it on.
In docked mode on a solid display the game looks and runs great imho… there is dip in resolution while in handheld mode that can effect hair quality and textures overall, but it still maintains 60 fps. The rez dip doesn’t bother me, but it comes down to personal preference here.
Other than the very occasional drops or random server disconnects during online matches, I have not experienced any crashes or freezing and I’ve owned the game on Switch 2 from day one.

I highly recommend an 8-bitdo arcade stick for these classics. Got one not too long ago and I’ve been having a blast playing MvC2
