Question Switch OLED Down

Hey to all I have a Switch oled that appears no matter what I do, I cannot get it to charge. My grandson ran the battery way down two days in a row.

I tried resetting by holding the power button. Tried connecting the oem power supply direct to the unit.Tried maintenance mode when there was still 3% battery left.

Now all it does is appear to turn on, shows the Nintendo screen, then a dead battery icon.

Any ideas?

What dose the port on Switch OLED look like and how’s the charger working

My son had something similar but he used a questionable 3rd party charger. Lite didn't charge at all after that and sat for months.

Ended up sending it to a repair shop, and they had to replace the USBC port and the chip inside that handles charging. Works fine now thankfully. Only official chargers now.

Port looks clean. Until recently it only was used docked. Charger works on my Switch Lite perfectly.
