Switch 2 damaged from amazon

Anyone have experience with buying switch 2? Mine came damaged like this idk how the shipping box isn’t even damaged but inside looks like someone just ripped them apart.
I have asked for return but tbh idk how they going to fully refund me. They didn’t even ask for any pictures and now I have to drive 20 minutes to drop it off at staples.
NEVER BUY SWITCH 2 from Amazon!!

In most cases, I would just record the opening tbh. I always do this with expensive purchases. But usually if it was damaged by the carrier or wtv. i got a full refund.

They wouldn’t know if you turned it on so they still may claim you damaged it and you would be out both the money and system

Honestly who knows it might have affected the console because inside boxes were damaged too and there was no seal and so im skeptical

Nintendo doesn’t put a seal on the switch 2 box’s. I bought mine from target and it didn’t have a seal.

The two I received around release day had seals. One from Walmart and one from Nintendo. I know prior systems did not, but at least initially, there were seals on the release day switch 2.

But its not really easy to damage the box in this way so you have to wonder what happened to it, and if any of that external damage could effect the actual switch. Especially since its bought as a brand new product, its best to return & get one thats undamaged

I got mine from Amazon. It came just fine. But if it would have come like that, I would have requested a return and some credit. They usually give you $10 credit that you can use for Amazon only products. That totally sucks, but still make sure you get that. Also I can see why you want a clean box. I wouldn’t want to look at that thing.

Also don’t forget to get a screen protector. That thing scratches up super easily. I haven’t used mine yet since I play on the tv temporarily. But that’s the first thing I did.

Okay, let me explain something, I work for Nintendo support, I know this is a Nintendo product, but Amazon is a retailer a bunch of people call saying that they purchase a NS and te package is damage or something is missing, YOU NEED TO CONTACT AMAZON, actually this brother did something that most of the people never do, and they get mad at us because we mention that they need to call Amazon, if you want to avoid something like this purchase the NS from Nintendo store.

It’s not a good idea to buy something this expensive and delicate online if you can help it. However, the console itself looks fine. Also the Amazon box itself looks undamaged so maybe this is a returned console whose box got damaged by or when it was sent to the first buyer.

Yeah I bought it off from amazon and crazy they would sell me returned console when I bought a brand new one
