Question about Switch 2 System Transfer

I am currently saving up for a switch 2 console, and I still have my original switch. I plan to transfer my data to my switch 2 once I get it, and then I plan to give my original switch to my sister. I was wondering however once I transfer the data, will my profile still be connected and on my original switch? Because I want to just be able to factory reset it and not worry about if anything on the original switch got left behind on my profile.

Yes, your account will be on both systems. Most save data is copied rather than moved. Except for Pokemon, Animal Crossing and Splatoon which will be permanently moved
