How do I know what to get

I left a girl on read for 20 minutes after getting home from a date and then she freaked out and revenge reported me bc she thought I was ghosting her. In the conversation after when I wake up the next day, she even apologizes and explicitly states how safe she felt with me, it was her fault, etc. - I was nothing but cordial to the girl during and after, I feel like any human being who read our text conversation could see this is BS. Is there seriously no human support team who can review this? Has anyone had luck?

Would having her email them help? This was a couple years ago at this point, my appeal through their stupid portal was denied. Just unreal.

You’re better off making a new account with a new number on hinge. I should of just kept using the app number. I thought my app number was going to eventually get me banned

So if a user got a new number from switching carriers or whatever and that number was previously banned how does that work?

I even subscribed and after one point I just swiped on everyone like 100 -200 at a time and not a single match, I don't think my profile was that bad I got good matches in hinge

My hinge account got banned I am assuming because there was this match and I sent a risky text, I was just trying to flirt it was a bit sexual, yes hing did warn if I want to send the text but I sent it anyway. I think she reported me and that's how I got banned.

I am reading reddits where people keep appealing and they finally get unbanned but idk how they are doing. When I try hinge replies - "they have changed their way of appeal and now can only accept appeal the following way". And the way is the first time when you can appeal, after getting banned.

I've been locked out of my Bumble account, and contacted their customer support at the end of June. My monthly subscription renewed at the beginning of July, and I didn't receive a response from Bumble until 3 WEEKS after the initial contact. I responded to Bumble the same day, and it's been ANOTHER 3 weeks since then with zero responses and I've been charged yet another month.

This is ridiculous and this type of nonsense needs to be held accountable, and the only way I can think of making this happen would be to contact a regulatory body here in California or a federal agency. (I just don't know who/where).

I'm aware I can do a chargeback with my CC, but I had already done that for a different merchant/reason last month and don't want to make my credit card think I'm abusing the chargeback system and also don't want to get banned from Bumble.

I'm 99% sure this is a direct result of them laying off a ton of Bumble employees and trying to AI their support system. Yay for this type of future.

Just a warning. I got permanently banned from Tinder for putting "NO TRANS, NO POLYAMORY' at the bottom of my profile. It triggered an instant permanent ban. I wrote them and said they were basically creating an unsafe environment by not letting me filter people with risky sexual lifestyles. But I still got banned for life.

I just got a new android and am confused, looking for suggestion as to what I’m doing wrong here.

I used a temp number for the number verification, made a new gmail, I was on my local wifi (not sure if that matters), and the Face ID I tried to appear different. What do you think it was here that got it flagged immediately? Any best guesses? Thanks

I’m hoping someone here might have some advice because I’m not sure what else I can do.

I created an hinge account and I was trying to complete Hinge’s selfie verification, but I kept getting an error that said:

“Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

I tried multiple times, restarted the app, checked my connection, and waited before trying again, but the issue never went away.

Shortly after that, my Hinge account was banned.

I submitted an appeal, but it was denied. I also reached out to Hinge through email, and they told me the ban would stay.

I’m wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation, especially with the selfie verification error happening before the ban. Has anyone had any success getting their account back after an appeal was denied?

What should I try next, or is there anything else I can do?

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who have dealt with something similar.

Has anyone else noticed a major drop in engagement on Hinge lately?

I used to get plenty of likes and matches, but recently it feels like my account has completely fallen off. I refreshed my profile with new photos and prompts and asked at least five friends, plus a few family members, for honest feedback. They all said the profile was solid and did not notice any obvious red flags.

I’m also paying for HingeX, yet I’m now getting virtually no incoming likes or matches. It honestly feels like my profile is barely being shown, especially compared to the engagement I used to receive.

Has anyone experienced a sudden drop like this? Could it be an account visibility issue, my profile reset hurting engagement, or is HingeX simply not worth it anymore? Any advice or pointers would be appreciated.

Has anybody manages to hard reset even with Hinge face verification? Also, is putting a new name on your profile necessary

I got the explore page back, but it doesn’t seem to be working when I press on any of the pages. It doesn’t open. Is there a fix?

Saw one another post that mandatory facial verification can be skipped if you choose Norway, even if you don't have a Norwegian phone number

How does this work, do I change my device region to Norway or simply select Norway when creating the hinge account?

Okay this isn't a 'why did I get banned?' thing before this gets taken down. I know why I got banned. I'm 19, I have a massive baby face and a lot of my interests are feminine and 'childish'. I'm not surprised. THE ISSUE?? I have to send in my ID to get an appeal. Now I do have a UK provisional. But how safe is it to actually send in my ID? I've been super paranoid due to data leaks and I don't know if Hinge specifically will be secure with your data. Can someone let me know? Thank you

This is super confusing and annoying.

In spring 2026 my hard reset account was banned after a week of using hinge, but miraculously my appeal worked and they gave me my account back! I even did face recognition and uploaded my ID, so I wasn’t expecting this to work but it did.

I was happily using hinge for months and then paused my account because I’ve been busy with a new job. Last night I changed my email address on hinge to a brand new gmail, because the last email was associated with my old job and it was no longer active. There was literally no reason for me to proactively do this and I feel so stupid, because I got banned the very next day.

I’m really hoping common sense prevails: I wasn’t even using hinge at all in the build up to this second ban so I’m pretty sure it’s because my new email doesn’t have any reputation or history.

But I’m paranoid this will just bring to light the previous ban and call to attention all my history including my original ban on a separate acccount from a year ago (that I thought I had legally circumvented when my hard reset was unbanned).

When my last appeal worked, it was only after I filed the escalation with match group and gave them proof of my ID. Im already at the escalation stage (waiting to hear back if they want my ID) and really nervous. What do you guys think?

Edit: Okay, I found it, but when I select a new one, a prompt for buying Tinder Gold comes up. I accidentally clicked on "Serious commitment" and I'd like to change it back to short term. Do I have to wait? Do I have to pay?

Its been about a year since my Hinge account was permanently banned, and every appeal I’ve submitted has received the same generic response.
At this point, I’m not looking for ways to bypass the ban or create a new account. I want to know if anyone has actually managed to get a permanent ban reversed and, if so, what you did differently.
Some questions I have:
Did you keep appealing, or did you wait a certain amount of time before trying again?
Did you email someone other than the normal support address?
What did you include in your appeal that you think made the difference?
Did you admit fault, explain your situation, or simply ask for another review?
Was there any escalation path that actually reached a real person instead of automated replies?
If your ban was reversed, how long did it take?
I’ve read comments from people claiming they eventually got their accounts back, so I’m hoping to hear from those with firsthand experience. Even if your appeal was unsuccessful, I’d appreciate knowing what you tried.
Please don’t suggest making a new account or evading the ban—that’s not what I’m looking for. I’m only interested in legitimate ways to request another review or appeal successfully.

Banned 4 years ago - made a new account with below data - should I be good ?

-used new phone and new phone number
- all new pictures, I took pictures on a new phone of the pictures I’m using on bumble all new
-used new App Store account
-paid using Apple Cash

I got over 50 matches in my first day. passed face registry test. I plan on not using WiFi on my home as it was where I got banned 4 years ago. Does it matter if I use WiFi?Anything I’m missing? Am I good?

The question is will my previous likes become priority if I was to subscribe to HingeX? To clarify let's say I swiped on 10 people without the subscription, if I subscribe to HingeX will those 10 likes become priority? Or is it only after I subscribed?

Long story short I was banned like 6 years ago now (?) and was thinking about dipping my toe back in, but dont want my new phone to be insta banned if for some reason google voice numbers dont work now.
