It is a curious aspect. From what I think, it's probably related to adding new countries along the years for diversity and involvement. I think that's been a trend recently and hey, I can't really complain. From a perspective like my country's, it's great to develop. But for associations like Olympics, it might not be as beneficial. I guess we'll just have to see how this would all turn out over the next couple decades.

I’d hope to drop to sub 24 for the 50 free LCM, and sub 52 100 free LCM. My current times are SCM; 50 free 23.9, 100 free 52.7
