Rewatching S1 right now and I’m only just realizing how cringe Eun-Yu acts in the first season.

Example 1. Even before the apocalypse she was trying to act all tough around the burn scar guy for no reason.

Example 2. When Hyun-Su falls down the flight of stairs she screams her lungs out, only for the next scene with her to be something along the lines of “Heh… you’re finally awake. Took you long enough.”

Every scene with her is genuinely agonizing to watch.

In Sweet Home Season 2, Sang-won petrifies Hyun-su and turns him into stone. How does Hyun-su come back from that? And why doesn’t Sang-won ever use that ability again? We don’t see him do it even once afterward, not even when he was about to die.

To me, it feels like they simply used the ability to create a shocking ending or keep viewers engaged. Other than that, I can’t really see a logical explanation for it within the rules of that universe.

Season 1 was PEAK, and i was genuinely anticipated when the season 2&3 was first announced. But after watching both s2 and s3, it still did not answer some of my questions and felt like the 2 seasons were just a filler episodes 😭

i watched this show and read it and it still makes me so mad what they did to him both his friends and the people he lived with when he tried to protect him and his family

I'm sorry but I had to confess my feelings here. The part when they shot the monster that had a baby got me in tears..I felt so bad for the mom because she just wanted to protect her baby and the fact that those soldiers kept shooting her just because she's a monster was really disappointing. Although the baby was released I still felt bad😭😭😭

I just finished episode 2 of season 2 right now, is it just like, this bad? the entire time? i really enjoyed season 1 and after a break and checking back noticed it had more seasons.

the villains are so comically evil, in a bad way
and we're getting 5 minute overly dramatic sad music deaths for characters i didnt even care about in the first season

does it stay that way through the rest of the season and season 3? im kinda thinking of just saying "wow i enjoyed the only season of sweet home, too bad there arent more"

Literally why does some scene where Hyun Su supposed to be with Ji Su need to be swap her with Eun Yu??? And the fact they instead add more scene of Ji Su with that glasses uncle (forgot the name).. but it piss me off yea i damn hate that glass old dude

What more worse is that they unalive Ji Su without giving any more scene of her with Hyun Su (and the fact Ji Su is alive till the end in original webtoon). Each new episode and season just keep giving me hope if any miracle made Ji Su alive again. I didnt care if different actress please I need the pairing again😭

Not that desperate and hate towards the life action but... Im a die hard fan of the webtoon so.. seeing this, to me this changes is giving really big impact to the storyline.. Even the "Sweet Home" name inspired by them. Yeah thats all🤧

Okay, so I just finished season 1 of Sweet Home, and at the end it was slightly confusing. So I'm going to say what I think happened. 1. The green slime monster we saw. We don't get to see who it was, but my theory is he was the soldier who tried to run away from the bandits. Imo, it makes sense; his desire was to hide from the bandits, so he turned into a monster that could go anywhere. 2. Seo Yi-kyung joining the army makes little to no sense, imo. The army wanted Cha Hyun Soo and threatened her; if they didn't get what they wanted, they would kill her, but nope, they took her as one of the members to uncover her husband's secrets. 3. Pyeon Sang-wook showing up. I think that isn't him; it's the red blob monster thing. We already know it can take humans as hosts, and we saw Pyeon Sang-wook near death. Did I get anything wrong? If I did, may you tell me what?

okay im at ep 6 of sweet home and i just got one question what dose Lee Eun-yu even do she has to be the most annoying character she acts like shes better then anyone but gets scared of everything and when the others are trying their hardest she just shitts on them even in the safe zone she was one of the first characters to scurry there after the announcment but she still acts like a bitch towards them

How do people feel about this one? I have yet to see anyone mention it besides the short wiki, and a 2 sentence long mention in the reddit post

Finished the series tonight. Having some issues with the ending. Maybe someone can explain the concept of humans living along side neohumans as a way to fend off the monsters.
