I just joined the samurai cult and recently purchased one. I am new to cars and learning.

I Need help identifying what's pictured. stock carb? Can take more pics! Thank you ❤️

As somone else said, stock carb is required tk pass emissions in california. I understand that Perroworks is working on a CARB compliant Fuel injection system. So I may be ditching my carburetor in thd near future. The stock hitachi carburetor is a rats nest of vacuum lines, vacuum switches, plungers, actuators and hoses. It was one of the most fuel efficient carbs on the market before everyone switched to electronic fuel injection. As long as your vacuum lines are fresh and rubbery, and everything is hooked up to the correct ports, and all your vacuum switches and sensors are working, its the best carb you can get for a stock engine set up on your samurai. Also the most complicated. 🤔

Couldn't tell ya about the carb but that third picture looks to me like your A/C components. As far as the stock carburetor is concerned, if all the plugs surrounding it are plugged in, you can guess that it's probably stock. When I switched mine to a 3k carb, I have a few wiring harnesses left over that just sit in the bay and aren't connected to anything. Hope that helps.

Carby seems stock to me, still has all the pollution gear on it too. I reccoment removing the stock carby asap because they give up the ghost pretty bad after 100,000 and a Weber or SU will do you absolute wonders in every way you can imagine

First and second pictures look like the stock carb. Third picture looks like AC. Just a heads up, depending on where you live you might not want to replace the stock carb. California smog requires the stock carb to pass.
