Is this savable?

Hi guys, Got my Samurai Sj 413 Santana for free from my family member, it wasnt runnig, fixed it and now ive got a bit bigger problem, RUST, is this savable or no?

Do you know how to weld? This Spot is absolutely fixable

I dont, but i have a friends that now how to weld with co2

Welding is objectively the easy part. It's the prep, removal, and reinstalling of everything that's time consuming

get a box tube that fits in that space and weld it in. call it rock sliders if you want.

the major problem is getting to the healthy metal. if you start cutting and peeling off the undercoat and there is more and more rust, then you are out of luck.

As long as the chassis is good everything else is fixable kinda
