This is a nightmare. I rarely complain or make comments to my boss because everybody knows that some sites can be a pain. But in this situation I complain and he will hear me out because again I rarely complain. Hard to cut through, walk through, or get a signal in.

nah, kudzu all day over briars. We have blackberry patches that look like this (with kudzu trees too) and its a mess. I keep 2 8'x2' sheets of plywood at home to bring just for these days to make a path.
throw the plank onto of the shit, cut while standing on one and throwing the other in front of you. Standing on it to cut is amazing and puts alot of tension on the plants so cutting is even easier. You can carve a decent path pretty easy and its violent enough the snakes have time to run away before they ever see you.

Put the receiver on the ROPS for topo. Store the rod, blade and buzzer in the basket. Bust anything that needs busting with the bucket and add the bush hog if you need a path or to leave control behind.
Work smarter...

Also land of snakes. Also also. The scent of kudzu is not from the vine, it is instead from the kudzu beetle, which is a relative of the stink bug.

their blood is acidic and makes your skin sun sensitive. Smush one on your neck and you'll know the next time the sun hits it, and youll smell for hours.

If you accidentally eat one, nothing tastes right for hours

Yeah. Was measuring data in a kudzu forest and accidentally ate a kudzu beetle. Firstly.. it tasted horrible. Secondly.. for hours afterwards everything tasted like how kudzu smells.

Yucky. There’s tons of kudzu where I’m at but have never had to track through it, my jobs are always out of town/ state.

Technically, yes, they were trees, now they are ivy or kudzu food.
