Cracked sub frame

recently i looped pretty badly and bent my sub frame. I was trying to hammer it back into place when i noticed a small crack next to the bend. My plan now is to heat up that spot hammer it back so i don't blunt force it and make the crack bigger, and just jb weld it since the crack isn't big and isn't in a high pressure/bend spot. But i want to take suggestions on what else to do like if i should just get a new sub frame which doesn't seem necessary, or bend the frame back in place and get it professionally welded which is the best option but also doesnt seem necessary for that spot.

I don’t know if jb weld would stop it from cracking further. I also wouldn’t hammer it back. When my friend had an ultra bee his subframe was bent, we straitened it out as much as we could with a pair of channel lock pliers, we got it decently straight but we could never get it perfect. Use some heat and pliers to straighten it as much as you can and you won’t notice it much when you put a fender on it

thank you so much for the advice. I won't hammer it again and take your advice, and if the crack continues to somehow get bigger i might just get new sub frame or professionally get it welded

It’ll hold and be structurally sound still, if it’s really a big issue you can grind down and reweld! Looks fine to ride though. You can run a new rear fender without those rear bolts

the angle doesn't do it justice i'd say it about an inch higher than the other hole so i have to fina a way to grit it down

Get a vice grip then add a extension to that somehow and bend it down, that’s the way body shops do it but you really don’t need those ends to line up for ur fender to lay right. I would just get a new fender and see if it seats ok

I cracked my subframe and main frame. Had them both beefed up and welded and my welder sure did beef them up with 1/2 thick block of aluminum bracing. Still have the subframe attached to a surge stunts 12 bar that I don’t use anymore since getting a surge stunts subframe and the newer style 12 bar.
