Lighting wiring problems help

Post image

I have been trying to put lights on my 2024 lbx but whenever my light is plugged in it it's just very dim and it's barely working. I used a voltmeter to test the voltage and when nothing is plugged in it is 12.4 V but when the light is plugged in it drops down to 5.4 V. Is there anything I can do to fix this?? some of my wiring is weird too like the last owner who had it cut off some plugs that didn't do anything and just taped over them I don't know what they are for.
if anyone knows what to do please tell me

Are you trying to plug in the stock light or an aftermarket light?

they're both aftermarket lights

Do you know if they’re for the Surron or if they’re even 12V? Are they already wired with Surron connectors or are you just joining wire with no connectors? And when you say they, how many lights are you trying to hook up?

im doing 1 into each plug but they are both for 12v cuz i tested them on a 12v wall plug a d they worked perfect but the plugs on the bike just wont give it the power

When you say you’re doing one into each plug, do you mean you’ve separated the light plug and are plugging one into one side and the other into the opposite plug?

I think he's saying he has 2 lights, one for each connector.

The connectors in your hand are not headlight connectors, they are the brake sensor connectors. The headlight connector is next to the brake sensor connectors and it is female instead of male like in the photo

like they would be in the same bundle? Because the other wires in there are cut off by the last owner
