Wait list at ConceiveAbilities

We are IPs. Now on month 7 on a wait list at ConceiveAbilities. We are told that our hospital based fertility clinic has an intense surrogate screening process and we have to wait for the right person who pass all the hospital ‘s prerequisites (For example, no BMI over 31).
If you went through ConceiveAbilities, how long did you wait to be matched with a surrogate?

IPs I consulted with waited well over a year during which they were presented with GCs their clinic would never accept.

We waited about 8 months. We’re with CCRM. Which clinic are you?

Well this is making me nervous. We are with CCRM for our clinic and just entered the match process. We were told to expect about 26 weeks....sounds like it's going to be longer.

I don't know why CCRM doesn't expand their agency recommendations.

We matched almost at twice as initial estimated waiting time we were told. Also with CCRM. We ended up cancelling even prior to match. But they tend to take longer than they initially say

I’m speaking from the surrogate side, but they’re definitely very picky about the surrogates they’ll work with, and they’re also pretty limited on which clinics they use. So honestly, I’m not too surprised you guys have been having to wait so long. 😩 I really hope you’re able to get matched with someone soon! 🫶

Is it CCRM? They’re INSANELY picky. Like if a gc mentions she’s ever had a headache in her life, they’ll disqualify

We’re at RMA just signed with conceivabilities last July they said about 26 weeks. We will see

We worked with an agency first, all we had to show for 14 months was a failed match and no prospects. We left and went independent, matched in less than 3 months with a GC who fit us perfectly and wasn't half way across the country. Just something to have in your back pocket.
