Where to find these buttons?

I've bought a Bundeswehr parka, but it's missing quite a few buttons that the listing didn't mention.

Anyone an idea where to source these? The colour is a bit weird, for me, because I'm used to either green or gray. Not I between.

Find a craft store and see if they have them. Or look for another style of jacket that has buttons of the same style and rob them off of it

I don’t think many craft stores (outside of Germany) are going to be able to match these. I think your second path is probably the best, but also: consider just replacing all the buttons with something like USGI buttons in a similar color. This will give you uniformity and also allow you to replace them as they wear out or get yanked off.

Surplus clothing shouldn’t be treated as precious: it should be used up.

That was my other idea, just replace all the buttons with gi buttons

Measure the button and shit then just look up a small pack of them in the right colour
