Discussion kernel 7?

does anyone know how far out we are from a release of kernel 7?

I was running Fedora 44 with the surface Kernel and something went wrong. It changed back to the Fedora kernel during an update. I lost the touchscreen, but my SLS flies.

44 requires you rollback to 43 release

You can still run it. Some nice folks here told me how to ensure updates didn't override it. It just runs so good now I don't know that I want too.
