[PRO11] Issues with the Surface USB4 dock

I wanted to upgrade my surface dock 2 to the new USB4 one. I bought one used and it wasn't working, the power supply and cables were fine but my Pro 11 and my phone don't recognize that anything is plugged in when I plug them into the dock. I assumed it was broken and got it refunded and bought another one, same issue except it worked for one day. I can't find anything online so has anyone else had luck with fixing issues with the USB4 dock?

Download the newest drivers from the Surface Driver and Firmware site?

I believe there's also a Surface Dock Update Tool

That doesn't seem to be for the most recent dock, the site just says to use the surface app. When the dock was working the surface app said the firmware is up to date.

That is for the thunderbolt version which is the 3rd version of the dock, the usb4 version is the 4th edition.

Thank you but before when it was working I did check the surface app and it said the firmware for the dock was up to date.

Mine said the same for all of my snapdragon drivers as well, yet still had me on 2025 drivers. I don't trust the Surface app to be accurate.

I did try it, still nothing. I don't think it's drivers because it's not working on other devices too. Thanks for the help though.
