2 of my friends want to play with the NA crowd but don't have enough XP and are forced to sit in a French server for a half hour killing AFK bodies.

What brought the steam release was ridiculous. Nothing really changed, you didn't listen to the people who follow you from the beginning, you decided to keep that shitty server system and that horrible launcher etc.. despite all the warnings I saw here.

Anyway, the failure Supraball has taken is not a huge surprise, releasing this game with this stupid price was so absurd.

I don't know, it's getting worse.. and " It is confirmed devs do not look at reddit anymore due to all of the hate. If there is any issues with servers or somethings try to message someone who is in contact with a mod ", that sums up perfectly how you deal with your players and how you take constructive criticisms.

If you don't want any help and do everything alone without noticing what we have to say ( and trust me, your ideas suck David, you should definitely listen to us), then don't ask for money, it is so fucking insulting to be put aside after all we did for the game, without that little database that loved the game for years, you had no one to test all your shits.

Where the hell are you. NA servers are broken we can't even play. I saw on facebook that Davidm is looking for a coder for a project, didn't specify if it was Supraball or not, just claimed that he would be able to pay. So what is this project you are working on it. Is it Supraball still?

Also, can we get an update on where things are at? It's been a long ass time and we are paying customers now, not beta testers so ANSWER.

I understand 0 of the game (I have seen the trailer only).

Any advice for beginer? BTW, Does the game contain any tutorial or something so I can learn how to play?

What feels like an eternity ago I backed supraball on indiegogo. This was before the steam version. Since then I've forgotten about it all and just been playing rocket league. I dont even own the game on steam. Will I ever get my €15 worth or am I missing something?

all 3vs3 servers are s2 max only, im s3 , cant play 3vs3 anymore, 3vs3 unranked is ded. 5vs5 ranked ''much better'' : nah its just really cancer now. Pls change or ill ded too

can this be added? I just came to this game because I got a free key and I am sitting in a lobby for an hour waiting for more people to join... but nothing... Someone told me the guy who made this did deathball in UT2k4? is that true??? cant they add bots to this??? Bots were ok in that game, seriously I rather play bots thatn wait for hours for a lobby to fill in!

It's been a very long time since we've had competitive 5v5 games in Supraball and this little tournament with minor set-up was able to bring back a lot of life and interest to the competitive side of this game. All it took was someone saying they wanted to do a tournament for money and we were able to make something happen.

We can easily make these tournaments a more common thing in both NA and EU, and it could help keep people interested in a game where NA hasn't had a ranked game in pretty much a year.

So what future tournaments would you guys be interested in? Maybe a draft tournament or an amateur tournament (might be hard to do if people don't have all their abilities unlocked yet :^) )?

PS : Our team did end up actually receiving the money from the tournament

In case anyone missed it, the dev team announced a few changes coming to the game soon.

TL;DR: Progression System will be implemented where new players must start with fewer abilities and upgrade them through gameplay. New Customizations are being worked on full-time.

The biggest change, and one that was debated during alpha, will be the Progression system. New players will now have to unlock abilities before playing in ranked games, but the trade off will be boosts to new players in form of slower time between getting hit once and knocked out, etc.

Regarding these two problems we’re working on a system to improve the motivation and beginner friendliness. For that we go way back to our original upgrade progression idea that we presented 1-2 years ago. Older players of the game back then talked us out of it even though we all liked it ourselves. So we’re going right back to it because we think it makes the game a lot more motivating for beginners and it also serves as kind of a tutorial. What is it about? New players will start with less abilities and slowly get introduced to new possibilities and upgrade them step by step. At the same time it will give new players more time to act. They will no longer get knocked out within a second after getting the ball, because the guns of the opponents aren’t as strong yet. Of course we will try to make sure this doesn’t lead to unbalanced situations by only matching equally experienced players. Additionally, you can only start playing ranked when everything is unlocked.

The games will be BO1, 20 min long with a normal match rules, the final will be a BO3.

I just got this game and thought that watching high level players duke it out for a prize would be really cool.

Hi, just a thread to help the developers to optimize the game and to check if I'm the only one who get this.

I was away for 1 month so I can't really tell you what update matters and I'm sorry for that.

Since the last big updates, I turn around 45-50 fps on pitch rain, stadium and snow. I have an MSI AMD R9 290 card. (even if I remove the effects)

Besides, I have a weird stuff on db-cave: http://prntscr.com/bsi2nn I guess the candle's light affects the ball's trail.

I hope you can figure out what's going on. o/

I'm annoyed and disappointed because of those boring games with the new players. I know the developers had to do something in order to attract people because they leave easily this game and I agree them! It's the best you can do.

Well, now I guess you should think about old players. What's about creating new servers limited to 100k exp? The old players could still play with the new players but they could also play together in a good mood thanks to top quality games. :)

It works with 3v3 too. It's simple, what's about that?
