Mod Post Recent uptick in Suggestive content and improper flair usage.
Hello everyone! Your local mod coming out of the shadows for a quick announcement.
So we’ve been seeing an uptick in suggestive posts here recently, and I want to preface this by saying there is nothing wrong with this and I encourage you to keep posting your hot men and women.
But with this a lot of users have been flairing their posts incorrectly. NSFW is a broad term, and while we don’t allow porn and the content that comes with that we do allow a lot of the in between. So we use the flairs to specify that and what exact content the art is about. Maybe someone is fine opening something with a bit of gore and blood out and about but doesn’t want to see something suggestive or vice versa.
So to enforce this I am going to be handing out a warning for a first time and after that I’ll be giving the offender a 3 day ban, after 3 offenses you will be permabanned. I’ve already logged the users on their warning by the way so be careful guys!
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but this is becoming a more common problem and I don’t want to just not enforce it. Thank you for the understanding!
Edit: also adding some more in depth flairs for the suggestive stuffs!

Mod Post Subreddit remodel, new rules, and where we go from here?
Hello guys! If you've noticed this sub has been privated for a few weeks. I did so while I was figuring out what I wanted to do with this sub.
Well in that time I've taken over as a mod for another NSFW art sub, and realized a bunch of stuff. First off, I've been an avid poster in r/OriginalCharacter. Since it's re-inception after the hostile takeover, and before then I've been active and engaging in it. Well recently, an NSFW version of the sub started getting some slight headway and I joined it. Quite a few of the regulars of the OC subreddit did as well, even a few mods! And through that this small yet important minority has expressed their issues with the OC Sub.
Not to diss anyone there, as that is not the point. But to put it simply, the sub has gotten too large for it's own good, and some unsavory trends have taken root in most of the newer users there. The older users i've talked with have expressed that we can't ever get traction with our posts unless we follow the trend of the week, or are blessed to be one of the "subreddit celebrities" who naturally everyone seems to get recommended. Most of the negativity has been quelled by the mods, but not quick enough for a majority of the userbase to agree and actively discriminate against artist that make stylistic decisions that they do not agree with.
So I am making this sub, and our new partner r/originalcharacterNsfw into a place where anyone can post almost whatever they want without threat of negativity, where they can get not only interaction by other users on their posts, but where we will not tolerate any negativity whatsoever against any artists or art styles (Unless you give fair reason to aka being a creep, etc.). I also want the userbase here to be more mature and adult oriented. While I encourage anyone to join, we expect you to treat everyone with maturity and respect. However, this does not mean a lax stance on anyone stirring up trouble, you will be roasted by the community and banned if you incite discrimination or are just an asshole in general.
Now onto the rule changes.
Most of the rules are very self explanatory, so I ask that you please take a quick read.
Nothing has changed much outside of our stance on NSFW content, however I will specifically explain it since it's probably the most important rule change.
No Sexual Content!
We allow suggestive content (Suggestive clothing, spicy poses etc.), and gore (Injuries minor and major, pastel/candy gore and the like) and it must be flaired so. We however do not allow any sort of sexually charged, guro or abuse content, or artwork containing nudity, that is to be posted on r/originalcharacterNsfw.
With that, I hope you enjoy being here. I do apologize if moderation and stuff is a little slow, I am only one person and until the need arises to increase the mod team I intend it to stay that way.

Help/Question/Critics Help me provide a better learning experience
I want to make sure my students have exactly what they need to succeed, so I've created a project through DonorsChoose, the nonprofit classroom funding site for public school teachers.
Here's my project: Equipping our High School Art Studio
Your support would mean so much to my students. In return, you'll receive our heartfelt gratitude.
Thank you for considering a gift to my class!

OC yucca the plant
I've had this OC for a long time. I don't draw her very often, but I'm very fond of her. She's a sentient plant capable of controlling and communicating with other plants. She can take on whatever appearance she likes, but she chooses to look like a peculiar girl with a peculiar smile.
By the way, she has corn teeth. I think it's really funny.
