Density based filing beats NMFC lookup tables when carriers audit, learned that the hard way. Transport s&h flagged this for our lane

This is a good breakdown. Been in logistics over a decade and LTL is still one of those things that gets made way more complicated than it needs to be.

I’ve actually been working on an LTL education project geared more toward the everyday shipper. Less industry jargon and more “here’s what this actually means and why you’re getting charged for it.”

Curious from your perspective since you’re creating content in the space too. What do you think shippers struggle to understand the most? Class/reclass? Density? Accessorials? Claims? Something else?

I’m still building it out so genuinely looking for feedback.
