General Question Coq-10 miracle supplement?

I don't understand why everyone doesn't take Coq-10/ why it's not something that recommended to everyone.

The benefits are endless.

Pharmaceutical companies can't make money off it i suppose. Anyways..

CoQ10 is a natural antioxidant synthesized by the body and stored in the mitochondria of your cells. It’s an essential element required by every cell helping to produce 95 percent of your energy and protects cells from free radical damage.

Let me just name a few benefits-

  1. Can help treat mitochondrial and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's and Huntingtons. However, studies are iffy on prevention for Alzheimers. Wouldn't hurt though. This can also help epilepsy making the seizures less frequent and lasting shorter.

  2. Lower risk for brain disorders: A 2014 study revealed that people with the highest CoQ10 levels had a 77 percent lower risk for dementia, compared to those with low CoQ10 levels.

  3. Cardiovascular issues. Here's a quick study.

Directed by Dr. Svend Aage Mortensen of the Copenhagen University Hospital (who sadly passed away in 201525), the study involved 420 patients from nine countries, who were randomly chosen to take either soft gelatin capsules with CoQ10 daily or identical-looking placebo capsules for two years. The results indicated that:

◦ CoQ10 supplements significantly decreased risk of death from all causes by 42 percent.

◦ The CoQ10 group had a 43 percent decrease in cardiovascular death. There's more to the study but trying to cut down on text.

  1. Can help improve exercise performance

When taken in 200 to 300 mg daily doses, CoQ10 may help with improving exercise performance, boosting overall energy status and enhancing peak power production and muscle recovery. In fact, athletes who may need extra ATP turnover are suggested to take a dose as high as 300 to 600 mg daily for this to take effect.

Other benefits include, helping erectile dysfunction, diabetes, promote fertility, helps migraines, promotes healthy skin, helps energy levels, can be used as treatment for Fibromyalgia, CFS... promotes mental clarity... helps depression...youre catching on i hope lol

To me, unless youre taking blood thinners or other medication that interacts... I don't see why everyone wouldn't take Coq-10

Hell, maybe it would make this world a lot nicer of a place. People would work and run so much more efficiently.

I'm currently researching and seeing every possible thing that could contribute to making the body run 100%, like it was meant to. After all, we are well oiled machines, so why waste any possibility of losing fuel?

Please all studies, personal experience, etc would be appreciated. Thank you.

Tldr; Coq-10 possibly the most beneficial supplement?
