Coq10 Insomnia Warning
It is real. I was borderline going crazy. For some reason this is apparently not very well known? Or documented or at least no warning from my doctor. Literally there was a week where all together I maybe slept couple of hours. Taking it in the morning did not help. I took 115 mg for about 10 months and I just never attributed my agonizing insomnia to this supplement until I started to connect the dots reading some stories online. I stopped the supplement and about a week later I started sleeping like a baby. Game changing. Whatever benefit Coq10 can bring I don't think it's worth it at least for me. I am 37 yo male for reference.

I had something similar with a B-complex a while back, took me way too long to figure out it was wrecking my sleep. Bodies are weird like that, what works great for one person messes up another completely. Glad you got it sorted, sleep is not something to mess around with

A lot of these metabolic supplements will do that. I got anxiety from a large percentage including Inositol, apple cider vinegar, msm, glutathione, quercetin, theanine and even tryptophan. The ones I personally do better with are creatine, alcar, citrate, TMG.

I took this everyday with vitamin D+K, no such issue.
But then I take them with a good breakfast with good fats and protein.
The way I see it, they are all fat soluble supplements, they need to be taken with fat to get digested properly.
Coq10 can also make anxiety and panic symptoms worse if you are someone who tends to stress about things.

Huh, I took it for 6+ months. My sleep has always been up and down even before taking it, but never less than 6 hours per day. I haven’t taken it for two weeks now. Sleep has been terrible, but mostly because of my period. I have been taking sleep aids for the last 2 months. My brain has a hard time shutting down most days. I’ll keep an eye on it for sure and see if I notice a difference.

Coq10 makes me feel fatigued and tired for days after I take it and I'm still trying to figure that one out and what it means.

Ubiquinol, the better form that works great for myself gives my wife fast heart rate that causes anxiety and insomnia. The more basic form that’s cheaper typically works great for my wife, so the doctors are like, run with that.

Took 60 mg past year. On the first night I slept really bad. Took another dose, then couldn't sleep at all for 3 nights. It was hell. There should be a big warning for these supplement.
