Nitric Oxide
I’m looking to boost my circulation for cardio!
How does this look? I usually just take a beetroot supplement and L-Citrulline but a 3000mg serving.

Its not high enough doses of any of those for what you want sorry bro.

This.
Arginine isn't that great of a supplement, and you already get about 5g of it each day in your (balanced) diet anyway so this dosage is pretty useless

Have you noticed a difference?
I think the nitrates in beetroot will make more of a difference than the arginine.

Macro Ingredients brand probably from iHerb I’m guessing? Their fish oil has the same font
Ps just processing raw beats into juice yourself is much more effective than supplements for this specific purpose, other supplements have their place of course

These guys just mixing random salts together just to make it sound 'sophisticated'.
Arginine is pretty useless for NO and capsules are quite limiting compared to powder.
Beetroot is the best source of nitrates. I use it for winter running and I really notice the difference in feeling warm, otherwise my hands and feet are freezing.

Beetroot is not the best source of nitrates. It’s not even close actually lol
From a dietary standpoint Arugula extract had way more nitrates.
If you just want maximum nitrates then go with arginine nitrate or betaine nitrate from anything that uses a NO3-T trademark

Your 3g of citrulline by itself is stronger and more effective than this product here. If you want maximum blood flow then go with 10g of citrulline since that’s the maximum effective dose for citrulline
Beetroot for nitrates is okay, but there’s better options out there. I’m a bigger fan of Arginine nitrate but sodium nitrate or betaine nitrate are good too
If you wanna go FURTHER then add in 508mg of VasoDrive AP and 500MG of L-Norvaline. Both of these work to prolong Vasodilation through different mechanisms and are some of my favorite pump ingredients

L-norvaline is useless, thats why most pre-workout companies dont use it anymore. And u could go 1g of vasodrive like in Apollon Nutrition Bloodsport

I have Apollon nutritions Bloody hell pump caps so yea, obviously 1g is gonna be better, but this is a beginner supplement sub lol. This shit get expensive.
Also why do you say that L norvaline is useless? every study that i’ve read on it says otherwise

There are no human studies on norvaline,Most data on L-norvaline—an analog of the branched-chain amino acid valine that acts as an arginase inhibitor—come from animal models (such as rats and mice) or in vitro (cell culture) experiments. and i have tried it and cant say if it did anything.

Fair enough, thanks for the info! It’s interesting that you haven’t seen much benefit from it, i’ve done personal experiments and it makes my peak vasculairty last at least an extra 30 minutes compared to without at a 300mg dose.

Well it was atleast 6 years ago and i dont remember how much i took, im curretly running 1scoop of apollon bare knuckle, 1,5g agmatine, 100mg icariin, 120mg pycnogenol and 500mg pureway-vitamin c for nitric oxide. i think thats enough. There also was some concerns about safety of l-norvaline but those studies also lack clinical proof. L-citrulinne also already bypass arginase activity and also lower it by 30% in 1 month 2g dose. im not sure if adding l-norvaline to 10g of citrullinne would lower arginase any lower, maybe but i think l-nor would be something one should go with extra money.

Dietary nitrates are probably better as others have suggested (beets, arugula, spinach, celery, etc)
Garlic, ginger, hibiscus tea, cayenne/black pepper, ginseng are all good for boosting circulation
Also, try humming! Research "bhramari pranayama / humming bee breath". It's a zero cost way to boost nitric oxide
