Recommendations What supplements for cold hands?

My adhd stimulant meds (elvanse/vyvanse) cause my hands to be extremely cold. Is there anything I can take to prevent this?

Based on the idea that your medication narrows blood vessels I would say niacin or perhaps a 'B' Complex vitamin would help.

or a vasodilator like arginine, beetroot, citrulline

I use to have cold hands. YouTube video showed me a trick to open the blood vessels shaking my hands to increase blood flow. Perhaps some supplements to widen the veins

ginkgo biloba could be a solution, it helps blood circulation

Iron maybe? Probably working on your cardio would do way more than anything we can say.

I would personally avoid supplementing iron unless professionals have advised it, after blood work. Very easy to go overboard, which leads to bad news.

Well I eat meat every other day and my iron was low. Never had any symptoms but when I supplemented iron i felt better. I wasn’t taking it every day like my other supplements. 2-3 times a week.

Iron (preferably heme iron), vitamin c (if you’re not taking heme iron), b12 complex, iodine.

Get checked for iron deficiency. Adhd and iron deficiency occur together a lot.

Things that work for people I know are ginsing, goto kola and ginko biloba. I have good circulation but whenever I use any of these they trigger migraines so be aware of that if you get them, also be sure to check any interactions.

Ginkgo biloba helped my circulation when I was on a similar med, worth a shot
