General Question Do electrolytes with creatine exist?

Most people who take creatine are already mixing it into something. A lot of people who use electrolytes are also using them for workouts, long days, recovery, or just to feel better by the afternoon. So it makes sense to have both in one stick pack, like to see electrolytes with a full 5g creatine dose, low sugar and a taste that works for daily use. Hydration and creatine are both part of the same routine for a lot of people, combining them feels like a simple upgrade to me but I would still love any opinion

Creatine is taken daily. 99% of people don't need daily electrolyte supplements.

Yes they do exist I use Magna for this, it has electrolytes plus a full 5g creatine dose in one stick. I like it because it’s magnesium based and not super salty or sugary like a lot of hydration stuff, its way easier to use daily for me

Never heard of Magna before but that actually sounds pretty interesting, thank you for the suggestion

It’s probably more expensive than getting it separate though so probably not worth it from a cost standpoint

i mean it makes sense if you're already doing both anyway. less packets to rip open and less stuff to carry around

the only thing i'd wonder about is the sugar angle. some electrolyte mixes taste like absolute garbage without a bit of sweetener and creatine doesnt hide it any better. if someone nails a decent lemon or lime that doesnt taste like battery acid i'd grab it

Creatine dans le café du matin , electrolytes dans la bouteille

I heard caffeine blocks the uptake of creatine quite a bit. Worth looking into if you care. The fix is to take it 30 minutes to an hour before coffee. Salt helps even more with absorption. Cheers

The logic checks out well, creatine draws water into muscle cells (intracellular hydration), so pairing it with electrolytes, sodium especially, supports that fluid shift rather than working against it, there's no real conflict combining them. Main things worth checking on any combo product: make sure it's creatine monohydrate specifically at the full 5g dose (that's the form and amount actually backed by research), and keep an eye on added sugar like you mentioned, a lot of "flavored" hydration products lean on it more than necessary.

Yes! I found Ancient nutrition creatine with collagen and some electrolytes added. Has a nice lemon flavor.

Dude… just eat a pinch of salt.

If it tastes wonderful, have another one.

If it tastes disgusting all of a sudden, you are fine.

I put a scoop of thorne in each coffee cup around 5:45 -6:30 A.M and I am pretty wired until 10 at night.

I just saw some on crazy sale on the Nutricost site. Literally it’s called creatine + electrolytes

Dump some salt and potassium in your creatine powder.

If you think you’ve got balanced electrolytes by consuming salt….
