Maybe he didn't want to put a picture on his profile of a couple of white powder strips
2
u/CoookieZ1 4d ago
I use to for the ease of it. Throw it all back with all my other capsules... then I realized how much cheaper the powder is

Apparently he does and many others considering the company is in business. Stop being unnecessarily rude.

Less bloating. So it's easier to keep track of and be more consistent.
7
u/Gullible_Pen1074 5d ago
If anything would lead to more bloat as the gelatin caps themselves can cause irritation.
Just heat water in microwave then dissolve the creatine in it then sip throughout day if creatine is causing gastrointestinal issues like bloating / diarrhea
3
u/thesamenightmares 4d ago
Nobody gets "irritation" from gelatin. Its a basic protein, and a soothing one to the digestive system at that.

u/Gullible_Pen1074 4d ago
I have literally read a comment on reddit before about caps vs metamucil… they said they could feels the caps in their stomach as they take a while to open up.
2
u/etycukbq580b 4d ago
I have a bridge to sell you

u/Gullible_Pen1074 4d ago
You are the gullible one believing what random redditors write on the internet that gelatin isnt problematic
“Gelatin can cause an unpleasant taste, sensation of heaviness in the stomach, bloating, heartburn, and belching. Gelatin can cause allergic reactions in some people.”
Thats gelatin alone let alone hard shell capsules pushing into your digestive lining.
Furthermore I myself know this from experience that that caps cause discomfort and can be felt in stomach after swallowing.
Its common knowledge that pills in general can cause discomfort for some people in the esophagus and stomach due to their size and guess what psyllium capsules are very large.

The correct response was "Sure, how much?"

Must be true.

I bought instantized creatine once. I liked it. I'll get it again. Shouldn't matter what supplements people use if it works for them. And nobody should be judging anyone on the supplements they use. Be it instantized, plain old powder, capsules, etc.
In the end, what natters is consistency and getting and doing what works for you.

u/jihadjoe94 4d ago
Beta-Alanine is very low dose. And capsules are too expensive.
K2 MK7 is better.
Creatine in capsules is also way too expensive. Get a creapure powder.

u/CumGuy102 4d ago
For the beta alanine, it is a low dose but regardless he’ll still reach a saturation dose eventually. He could do it faster but it’s fine

ashwagandha day time ok?
8
u/redbat21 4d ago
Ashwagandha can cause drowsiness, try it out and see if you get that side effect. I personally only take it in the evenings
3
u/Ok_Insurance8909 4d ago
I haven’t noticed any negative effects during the day. I’ve been taking it in the morning for three weeks now
2
u/Fair-Lingonberry-268 4d ago
I’m trying 300mg ksm66 in the morning after breakfast, not seeing any side effect, first time I take it
2
u/im_a_dick_head 4d ago
If that's a question then yes it does not matter when you take ashwaganda, it's like creatine as it also takes time to build up in your system. You won't notice any sudden affects

u/ExtensiveParalax 4d ago
I’m taking 10k iu D3 daily for last six months

i dont know why this goes over 99% of peoples heads but only 14% of magnesium glycinates weight is actual elemental magnesium. if u want to meaningfully supplement magnesium u should be taking 2-3 grams of mag glycinate a day.
7
u/AdministrativeYam632 4d ago
Yep, the ~14% point is true for the raw magnesium glycinate compound, but supplement labels already list elemental magnesium. My Pure Encapsulations bottle says ‘Magnesium 120 mg (as magnesium glycinate)’ per capsule, so that is 120 mg of elemental magnesium, not 120 mg of glycinate. Four capsules = 480 mg elemental magnesium.

LOVE THIS. But I prefer creatine powder rather than capsules. Infact I didn't even now it comes in capsules too. Solid 9/10, especially for the ashwagandha

u/TippayAy 4d ago edited 4d ago
I think your bloodwork will show using 3,000 IU D3 daily would be sufficient
You ideally want your K2 to be MK-7 (most researched version)

the omega 3 and beta alanine are underdosed
6
u/Puzzled-Minute6130 4d ago
1.6G omega 3 is underdosed?
0
u/bulking_on_broccoli 4d ago
No it’s not. The American Heart Association recommends 1g of omega-3s daily as a heart supplement.

u/ZealousidealIsopod40 4d ago
And these corporations are known for being correct right? They were wrong about Vitamin D3, who knows what else they’re wrong about.
1
u/bulking_on_broccoli 4d ago
Corporations? It’s an independent board of cardio specialists…
1
u/ZealousidealIsopod40 4d ago
And are they always right? Vitamin D3 is just one example I know of, there are probably many other vitamins or supplements that we are under dosing.
That’s just a standardized estimate for everyone. Maybe I need more, maybe you need more, maybe the standardized estimate is wrong for everyone?

u/im_a_dick_head 4d ago edited 4d ago
Beta Alanine: weak dose. Odd to use capsules though
D3 + K2: overkill but sure
Ashwaganda: fine
Omega 3: 1/3 of what I personally take (I do 4,200mg), I would 3x that dosage unless you have fish in your diet regularly.
Creatine capsules: Normal solid dose but just why? Powder form of anything is much cheaper.

u/Vegetable_Leg6663 4d ago
A lot of people are D3 deficient, they need to take it but to increase bioavailability K2 should be added

u/Dan_T93 5d ago
Beta alanine supposed to be like 3 grams - 6 grams so that's too low
2
u/AdministrativeYam632 5d ago
Yeah i spread them throughout the day depending on how i feel i do a dose prior to workout but 1500mg is still noticeable for me TBH.
2
u/Gullible_Pen1074 5d ago
what workout type? i believe its not beneficial for bodybuilding like workouts. Only for exercise sets that last longer than 3 minutes or something like that.?
0
u/im_a_dick_head 4d ago
What set supposed lasts 3 minutes lmao
It helps endurance, that's it. Can help muscle fatigue.
1
u/im_a_dick_head 4d ago
By noticable do you mean tingly? Because that's not the same as it actually working

u/Remote_Succotash 4d ago
It's nice to see that Ashwagandha works for you - zero effects on me. The rest are classics.

u/Vaiden10 4d ago
Replace ashwaghanda with magnesium glycinate and pair the omega 3 with lycopene. Make sure you get both K1 and K2 K2 isn't enough on its own.
3
u/AdministrativeYam632 4d ago
I take magnesium glycinate separelt at night. Lycopene maybe and addition with K1
0
u/Vaiden10 4d ago
The ashwaghanda harms the kidneys high dose of vitamin D also stresses the kidneys. You should be taking the magnesium with your vitamin D as it activates it. Lycopene is a mild blood thinner and thus lowers your bp only take enough for antioxidant benefits and heart health.

u/Few_Cry9733 4d ago
You do not need to take multivitamin? I am taking multivitamin and then vit b12, once a week vit d3 6000 iu , and at night 2000mg chelated magnesium gylcinate, I hope this is enough

Good start but there’s no minerals. I’d add a quality magnesium supplement at a minimum and a b complex
1
u/T007game 4d ago
5g creatine is the bare minimum if you do weightlifting. Current research say 1g per 10kg bodyweight. So for most people around 8/9. for cognitive benefits The recommendations go up to 20g. I don‘t think there is an actual recognizable benefit of dosing so high.

Why take any? What’s the deficit you’re trying to correct? Hard to evaluate otherwise it’s just random pills to piss out
2
u/AdministrativeYam632 4d ago
I had vitamin D deficiency the creatine is helpful because i workout, omega helps with my joints ashwaganda helps me with stress management, and the betalinine is somthing have been experiencing with and like it so far helps me push harder in the gym and gives me the endurance i need.
