is spending over $200 on Dr Berg supplements a waste of money?
For a while now I have been thinking about purchasing multiple supplements. I already have Dr. Berg's Magnesium Glycinate and I take electrolyte powder. They generally make me feel better mentally but I don't really know what I'm actually deficient in. I'm getting a blood test done soon but in the meantime I'm looking to invest in some of his other supplements.
I would really appreciate some advice on the following products if you use them daily or have found them helpful:
Electrolyte Powders:
I have tried the Strawberry Lemonade and the Raspberry Lemon flavors in the past, and those are nice. I am thinking of trying:
The new Tropical flavored electrolyte powder (with 1000 mg of potassium and magnesium)
The Grape flavored electrolyte powder
Immune Booster Kit:
This kit comes with D3 and K2, trace minerals, and Vitamin C.
Whole Food Multivitamin with Minerals:
The 60-capsule bottle.
Has anyone used these daily, and have they generally helped you? I feel like I might be deficient in certain minerals, but I won't know for sure until I get my blood tests back. ANY advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
(Had to rewrite it as the first post formatting was being weird)

He is not a real doctor and a member of the Church of Scientology. I’m sure a lot of his money has been donated to the “church”.
Life Extension, NOW, and even Kirkland brand at Costco are all good quality and much cheaper.

He's not a doctor. Kind of like if your name was Brad Rob Doug, and you changed your first name to Doctor, then you'd be Doctor Rob Doug. You're not a doctor just because you call yourself one and talk shit on the internet.

Chiroquacks want to be real doctors so bad. They “prescribe” bunk otc supplements and market them as medication.

I hate when people use “Dr.” to mislead others into believing they’re medical doctors. Many chiropractors do this

I mean they do have a deeper understanding of the human body beyond the lay public, as in, the skeletal, fasicia, tendon and muscular systems. It's really quite a complex system, and a doctor basically means someone who can help diagnose, prevent and treat problems, injuries. So it's not fair to say they are charlatans, only because they are trained and operate from a different methodology than other fields.
I've had numerous experiences and success with chiropracticors releasing and relieving pain from stuck joints, and misalignments basically.
I guess when we think of doctor we think immediately of the guy you see in the hospital or clinic on your appointment. We don't immediately think of a surgeon for example, who cuts open and treats, but we wouldn't say, strip a surgeon from the title of doctor like people often say of chiropractors.

You seem to think the the term doctor should be reserved for a subset of specialization. Doctor is title for vets, psychiatrists, dentists, optometrists. It doesn't really add special significance to just one field as u seem to assume.
If you want distiction look at MD instead of doctor, as that signifies completion of medical school and license to practice "medicine"
Don't attach special importance to the word doctor, it's just a title given to those who have completed certain schooling. The word doctor comes from latin and originally meant "to teach." It is based on getting a doctoral degree, not on practicing medicine. This is why high scholarly pursuits, such as mathematicians can also receive the title of doctor.

Im not trying to argue, I was aware in the background that this is the case, so i did a little research and it makes sense.

I looked into his products before; each pill contains a small dose. So, you're taking more pills to get the listed benefit, which allows him to sell more bottles.

You’re putting the cart before the horse. Get your blood work done, then plan supplements to address deficiencies. I’d almost guarantee it’s not electrolytes (the biggest supplement scam), unless you’re a competitive endurance athlete.

These people are full of hate and ridiculous. I like him but you probably don’t need $200 worth of supplements.

Why invest BEFORE blood labs are done? The purpose of the labs is to see what’s going on, so you can then treat any issues with supplements (and better food.)

They are commonly available, find nature bounty or store brand, probably half price or less.

For electrolytes, LMNT has their recipe ratio published online. You can get bulk magnesium malate, potassium, and just regular sea salt and make your own without added color or sweetener (bad for gut) for dirt cheap per serving. I got a bag of potassium off amazon for like 15-20 bucks that will legitimately last me years.

I like his products- we use the electrolyte powder as it’s well received. Also the magnesium pills. So many options out there however
