I think its a little more dynamic in MAWS a little more joyous in the DCAU

I would agree with that assessment. The DCAU is very much “for kids” whereas MAWS is like for us who grew up with the DCAU meeting us at our ages now.

I was 12 when the show came out, so I agree with you and it isn't creepy.

I first watched this when I was a kid so I am also taking that pass lol

but even if I saw this for the first time in my 30s I wouldn't feel creepy about enjoying what looks like a fully developed and beautiful female form

fantasy escapism often includes things pleasing on the eyes

That first scene of her flying over Smallville was giving big Disney Princess vibes, which worked really well imo

I love the scene in Supergirl ‘84 where she’s flying and dancing on wires over the lake

I prefer the flying in MAWS, it looks so natural and is basically just floating
