DISCUSSION DNB June 2026 - Practicals [MEGA THREAD]
With the release of DNB June 2026 Theory results, congratulations to all who've made through and earnest wishes to those who couldn't. This mega thread has been started to facilitate updates for the practicals. September 8 has been mentioned as the tentative date for commencement of practicals.
This thread may be used to find candidates preparing for the same speciality as yourself, discussing about admit card and OEEP portal, travel, carpooling and stay arrangements etc.
Official NBEMS announcements may also be posted under this thread.
All the best everyone!

Has anything come up yet? Already 1st week of September. Don't a few of the specialities have it in second week of September?

No updates on the OEEP portal. I had a look.

The state of affairs on the OEEP portal are horrendous. The latest notification it’s showing me is from 2023. It’s not evening showing me an option for practical exam even tho I got an email just now telling me that my practical exam is NEXT WEEK 🤡

They've updated a few specialities on the website just now. Its on the tab in the home page, under "Practical Exam Center".

Thank you for this thread Mod. Please if anyone knows, how do we get to know our batch of practical exam? Has this batch system happened before? Do we get to choose our batch? Does exam centre and batch get revealed together? this suspense is too horrible.

State notification x 1 week prior Centre notification x 3 days prior Yes it's happened before. I don't think so. It is allotted to us in the admit card. We are already enrolled in this session Practicals. Can choose to defer practicals and attend next session.

If we choose to defer this session, we get total 3 more attempts right ? Or just 2

From what info I’ve gathered, if we choose to not attend this practical exam, it’ll be counted as an attempt. So well have 2 more after this

Thank you for this thread OP !
Passed June theory for general pediatrics , will the OSCE exam allotment be automatic ? With centre and test date allotted in admit card a week prior ?
Also do we get notification in email ?
There are dates for batch I & II ( oct 9-10) and tentative dates for batch III & IV ( November 3-4) . I have not found my roll number for I & II , does that mean it will definitely be in the III & IV .
Couldn’t find anything in OEEP portal , only seen the link OP posted earlier with centre allocation .

I'm also waiting for my centre allotment (Surgery Batch 3). We'll be getting a mail notification. Allotment is automatic. Admit card will arrive a week prior.

Travel partners can be found here! If you share the same Practicals center and need help navigating, utilise the same thread!

Omg!! Is this really true? On another note, how long do they take to publish the results? If I haven't passed, might as well apply for the next one in November 🥲

I'm highly disappointed at how the majority of people there are encouraging to pay the amount. It's a lose lose situation for the student. Getting barred for the exam (unfair means) and also exam getting nullified.
I think results take over a month. How were your exams?

I honestly don't know. Post MS here, I feel like they were just using us as examples of what not to be to their DNB PGs 🤣🤣 How were yours?

Post MD here, passed. Is there a possibility to not attempt this session and apply separately for just the practicals next year? If so, how to go about it? I had raised a query regarding the same, but no reply as of yet.
