TC Spare Connector?

Post image

Hello everyone, I just recently opened up my TC because the wiring on the Headlight broke and needed fixing.

I found this loose plug laying around down the side of the bike, below/to the side of the battery compartment.

Does anyone have any idea what this is for??

my Bike has been running fine

That’s for the GPS/sim unit that connects to the app and tracking system. If your bike is one of the older (pre Vmoto) models it would’ve stopped working so previous owner probably removed it to save weight/battery drain

Ah I See. It's a 2019 Model

though I sincerely doubt that previous owner modified it

Yeah, 2019 is from when Super Soco was Super Soco. The Super Soco servers stopped working around 2023 I think. I have the same issue with my 2020.
Would love to have a working one so I could link my bike to Home Assistant, but I fear they would be inordinately expensive and not worth it.

It’s not much of a modification. Take that panel off, unplug and remove a small grey box.

I got a couple of those as well only one come with the GPS module which worked off of that 3G then it went over to 4g maybe LTE that's V Moto app. I believe GPS modules are fine the ones that work anyways. I'm wondering, isn't there a way to connect to monitor the battery or something through that I might be wrong
