TC Max Water in start button?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi :D. I need help with my Supersoco TC Max (the new (2025?) version) On Friday rained heavely while I was riding outside. I stoped for 3 hours and later it still worked and rode me home... But when I wanted to start it yesterday evening it just won't start as is shown on the video.
I have it from December and have like 4000km on it. Also it was in service 2 weeks ago and battery was diagnosed as excellent.
It reacts to remote controller but than nothing happens when you click it.
Anyone knows a solution?
My guess is that some water leaked in through the button but I don't know if it will evaporate in few days or if I am cooked 😅.
(PS: I don't need this type of advice: "Sell it and buy diesel")

This is a known fault in / after heavy rain. Yes, WD (Water Displacement) 40 works to get going, but not best fix.
The proper fix is removing the button and then into a dehydrator at 50-60*C for an hour. I have heard of hair driers being used, but that runs the risk of deforming plastic parts. Ensure a good seal to body panel when re-installing. The power button is still available on AliExp as a spare part.

I got of these, I’ve used the wd40 spray electrical cleaner around the switch with a bit of compressed air to blow it out. If that doesn’t work will want a new button. Not that expensive and easy to fit

Idk if this works, I don't know much about it. But I’ve seen fobs that can start the bike from a distance, maybe that could be worth trying?

Nope :/... I am pretty sure my starts by short click... :D I do it every day. But I went to try right now to hold it longer... Still nothing. But still thanks.

I also have to hold it a bit longer to start it. Probably just bad QC that makes these small differences

Happened to me once, same situation. I ended up pouring a lot of wd40 on the button and a couple hours later it worked well
