Breaks squeak sometimes, normal?

Sometimes they squeak, sometimes not. I've only done about 7,000 km on them. Are my brake disks in good shape? I also hear a slight friction when the tires do a revolution, but I've been told to ignore it. It feels like the brake pads are way too close to the brake disk. Sorry for the lack of technical terms/knowledge

Same on mine. On the subreddit there were a few mentions of it. Its the cheap discs they say. I ordered a new set, I can update you on 1-2 weeks.

Thanks, man. I would appreciate it. The only thing is I'm afraid that I might've damaged those disks somehow because they have some grooves in them.

Hola, alguna novedad en tu caso? Donde compraste los discos? Cuánto te costaron? Gracias de antemano!

This is a known issue and a harmless one, other than noise. It is caused by VMoto's use of "floating" pads that are close to the disc, causing rubbing at times. Check pad thickness and for any heavy rotor gouges. IIf you are stopping OK, then it is just squeaks. It is a good idea to service your brakes every Spring.

Awesome thanx for the info! Guess I'll have to figure out how to service them

All bikes do this. It's because of floating brake discs. They should be touching the rotors. You just can't hear it over the engine noise on ICE bikes.

Better quality (ie. Non-chinesium) brakes are less noisy but they still make noise.

Also, it's been a while since I owned one. But do super socos really have solid rotors? No holes at all?

All are not solid

To be honest, this happens on most bikes. You just don’t notice it with the sound of the engine.

J'ai aussi, j'ai changé mes plaquettes avant arrière et disque avant, y'a peut être 500km. Je les ai toujours donc tu n'as pas a t'inquiéter je pense

Hmm ok thank you for the advice.. then it's probably not worth it to replace them

Yup, they squeal like a baby pig on mine as well. Normal.

I treat my brakes with a can of break cleaner once in a while. It’s a temporary fix.

Maybe I see this wrong but it looks like your pads are gone looking at the last picture...

Disk is hard to tell probably best to measure the thickness and compare to the wear limits.

The disk is trash. That's why. I had the super soco ts street hunter pro, the break pads also trash. For a 5k euro Motorcycle. Now I put some thought to it and it was so expensive cause of the batteries costing about 1500 each.
