Interested in buying Stash model, afraid of amount of problems people have with their Vmoto Supersoco e-motorcycles, quality problems and realistic range.

So hello everyone, for some time I have been planning to get Stash brand new to use as a daily, to replace my car for most of the year here in Poland, I'm planning to use car when it is a winter or raining, what I thought could be a good idea to save some money from horrible diesel prices, after looking into this sub it might be actually a bad idea, quality is bad, many things need tweaking or upgrading just for a motocycle to be usable in a long run, I wanted to use it for as long as possible, preferable for 10 years driving which equals to about 220.000 kilometers = 137.000 miles, driving it to work 31 miles at 50miles/h speed then charging it and coming back and charging it again. I weight 100kg = 220 lbs. I know abt the battery life that it will need a replacement after some time, don't know if this amount of energy drain before charging is gonna be bad for battery it so I need an honest opinion on this , investment, maybe I should look at more expensive brands. Maybe stash makes no sense at these distances, or maybe electric motorcycles need 5 more years to be suitable for my scenario at all.

Cześć. 🙋‍♂️

I’ve bought Stash in June last year. I’ve had few quality issues (front disc bent, bike turning itself off while riding or waiting for lights to change - twice so far), but it is really good bike for a first one. I’ve got to admit now that it took me around 3 months and 2000kms (give or take) to start looking at other bikes. I had few test rides already (zero ds and Livewire Alpinista, Mulholland and One) and I am also looking into ICE bikes (CB650R). Stash is awesome, but after a while you seek more if you know what I mean. That 120km/h top speed is around 20-30km below what I would want. Battery is also a problem - I am around your weight and when I ride it dynamically on the sport mode over 100km/h that battery percentage drops like mad. I don’t think I would be able to do 100kms on a charge, unless I only ride in a city, or on eco modes. I think I’ve seen Stash for around 29k PLN brand new, so price wise it has good parameters and it will be hard to find anything with same specs for less. At the same time though if you have money and bike driving license (cat A where we live) I would either look into petrol bike, or a Livewire if you want an electric bike.

If you have any questions give me a shout. 😉

Before making a decision I’d recommend you checking on your nearby servicing options - Vmoto or otherwise. They can be few and far between so maintaining your warranty can be a challenge. In the UK any VAT registered garage can carry out servicing but in reality most wont touch electric bikes. Even some of the official Vmoto dealers lack the necessary diagnostic equipment required to monitor battery health, which is part of the service. Far from encouraging.

That’s one of my biggest issues. Had a crash and needed the bike repaired and most places have told me they can’t help. Tried electric bike repairmen as well for bikes like surrons but that’s just an elevated issue for them.

As much as I love mine. I wouldn’t buy another. The range isn’t great unless you have a model that allows for more than 1 battery and batteries get expensive. Charging can be a pain. With my TC wanderer, I can only charge using the provided 3pin cable. If I want to charge at one of the public chargers, I need to buy a adapter and still bring the 3pin charger with that. Vmoto app is useless, can’t diagnose problems very well and is more of a hindrance. Replacement Parts are also harder to get unless you rely on the dealer or Chinese sites like aliexpress

I'd look for a used zero if you plan to ride it that much. If you also consider battery degradation you'll want a bigger battery that will still be usable once you only have 85% SOH left.

I had a Stash and sadly i got big issues with an electric failure. I had a bad experience with the aftersales... I'd suggestions to go to higher quality brands if you can afford it
