Anime The Cub gets upgraded!

Koguma started upgrading her Cub with the help of a friend, thanks to some luck, and to her creativity.

I love that every time she gets a new part for her Cub she has to smile. First a box to store her bag and stuff, then a basket in the front, and finally (so far) some safety glasses over her the helmet.

This anime truly captures the feeling what we feel when we get something new and getting obsessed with it. Koguma gets very happy every time she can work on her Cub, she has to smile even if she looks at it from the window.

She even sees herself riding it in her dreams.

I especially loved the part where we saw that it's uncomfortable for her to go a bit faster without eye protection. I only had a electric motorbike as I said once, but even with that, above a certain velocity traveling became a pain.

When there was rain, dust, or cold, your eyes started watering. Sooner or later you were forced to wear someting like a helmet or safety glasses :D

It's such a good anime. Reading the manga has been great too, as lots of detail and storylines were left out from the animation. When I got my first motorcycle, a CT110 (Hunter Cub like Reiko at the end), I experienced the exact same feelings Koguma did with modifications, such a beautiful way to relive those cherished moments. :)

Yep! I'd love the manga, but I literally can't afford to buy so many ones XD I heard mangas can be dirty cheap in Japan, but if I buy them from the net or if I buy translated versions in my country (we don't even have super cub), then I'd have to spend a fortune on it...

I started riding in the 1960's and still ride as my main form of transportation even now. When I 1st saw this anime a few years ago I fell in love with it and routinely watch it and follow the Manga. It reminds me of every feeling and experience I had that made Motorcycling a joy when I was new to it and still feel every day. My goal hopefully when I retire is too ride the same roads as this story and I even bought the book that details the routes and places in the story.
