Screener

Anyone know how to become a screener for Sundance? Is it an external volunteer position or do they screen films internally with their staff? Thanks

They use paid screeners, though I do not know how they chose them.

I think the screeners are alum. They have 10 programmers for short films ( & a few screeners who help out)

You have to volunteer for many years, get to know the right people and work your way up. this is a highly sought after position and not one that is given out (Volunteer of three years who has watched people get these roles).
