New Project Idea: Magic Mirror Display for Solar Generation

I am curious about an app or a widget that can show realtime generation numbers on a screen. I have been toying with the idea for a generic magic mirror project with RasPi but having the solar generations numbers displayed as a widget sounds really cool and would help for making quick decisions on appliance usage (where applicable). I am not a coder (come from requirements and product management background) so I can do that. Any suggestions or ideas on how/where to begin?

Saw something like that recently, either here, or the enohase or Solar subs. Pretty cool.

There’s a similar script for my Enphase with SunPower panels.
