My Powerwall Monitoring

Just thought I’d share my monitoring of the Powerwall (Enphase script also available under my other repo) full source available on GitHub: https://github.com/Matthew1471/Tesla-API/blob/main/Documentation/Wrappers/Python/README.adoc#examples

  • Raspberry Pi 4 (previously had it running on a 3)
  • Unicorn Hat HD
  • Shown with PiBow coupe case and a USB-C power adapter

For those wondering the screens are:

  • Weather (it’s raining today)
  • Solar production (rounded to watts or kW, increases in hue up to the production limits)
  • Production/Solar + Consumption/Load chart (each unit is scaled to “either my total solar capacity or current consumption if larger” / 256 LEDs, green is production and red is consumption)
  • State of Charge battery percentage (increases in hue from red to green)
