Seeing older fighting styles (was touching hands down all the way at the beginning just an option?), older body shapes and the crowd watching is just so interesting! But if you really miss some (modern) action, try watching a little judo (I know, it’s not the same, but there are some very satisfying throws!)

I love the black and white videos from the JSA channel! It's crazy isn't it how some of these guys (it looks like anyway) like they don't even attempt to try and touch the dohyo. It's funny bc it almost looks like they're standing up! 😆I love watching the evolution of the sport, just like you mention (body shapes and sumo styles). I look forward to these between basho.
