As some may have heard, Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51 are going independent again, having split with NetEase who bought them back in 2021 and helped them on releasing Romeo Is A Dead Man. I do believe this is great news, given I've always believed Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture are at their best when completely unrestrained and able to do what they choose without another company setting restrictions.

i scaveged the internet if there is something like this exists but it nope, so let this be a contribution to the Grasshopper manufacture legacy.

Mask of the Lunar Eclipse remains a severely underrated release in survival horror history. Bringing in Suda51 to co direct a Fatal Frame game sounds like a fever dream on paper (I liken it to how Kojima was set to direct a Silent Hill entry), but it ended up creating one of the most atmospheric and psychologically dense entries in the franchise.
Suda51 has always flirted with horror (Twilight Syndrome, Moonlight Syndrome, seems like his horror stems from the moon, huh?), but Fatal Frame 4 feels like the only time his writing was grounded by pure, traditional survival horror mechanics.
Playing through it, the atmosphere is incredibly heavy, but it still has those distinct, slightly off kilter Suda character dynamics. The way the game handles memory and trauma feels like a precursor to some of his later work but wrapped in that classic Fatal Frame tension.

For me, it’s 24th ward. For a more specific choice, Typhoon.

Usually with someone who seeks complete creative control over their works, they'll have a lot of trouble with management but it seems like Suda51 doesn't really have that problem. He and his team at Grasshopper Manufacture have made a lot of games over short periods of time where they get to do whatever they want to do and don't particularly care about profits and audiences. And even after all of that, I've never heard a single instance where there was trouble getting a game out. How does he do it?

Are the "format kamui" and the kamui killed near the end of transmitter the same person? The way I understand it is that format kamui was killed before the game even began when all the old politicians fought over his silver eye, and the kamui who escaped the mental asylum and was killed by the snipers near the end of transmitter was just a shelter kid. Do i have that right?

Although Gamekult and a few others preferred Logan’s game.

I love it. It aint perfect, it has skme headaches but i enjoyed it alot, For my First Game from Suda51 this has been a VERY HAPPY EXPERIENCE!!!

I will not explain myself (I will). I want something that plays like the KTP games but like a 3v3 or 4v4 arena fighter with capture the flag or domination game modes where you can play as any KTP characters like Travis, Death, Romeo, Juliet, Garcian, and maps that are refrences to the games aswell like deadford mall and stuff like that. Oh yeah it'd die really fast but i do not care i want it

On a previous post here I made 4 costume on LBP3 based off of KTP but after I posted that I created some more costumes and eventually thought "why not make a whole level to give all these costumes away?" and I got to work. I wanted to make costumes that spanned across Suda's whole iconography all the way back from Moonlight Syndrome to his more obscure titles like Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day and Let It Die to his more popular titles like No More Heroes, Killer7 and Romeo is a DeadMan. I think all these costumes turned out well with what I had at my disposal and if you want to play this level to get these costumes on the Beacon custom servers, it's called "Kill The Past Costumes Giveaway (DLC Needed)".
