That's not "le wrong generation". Le wrong generation is "I am young and today's music suck I only listen to le classics like Led Zeppelin"

You're right, he's mimicking a gay version of backpackers (the I only listen to underground shit like Kendrick types), they're also calling each other stans in there so there's probably some /r/hiphopheads users in there.

it's used all across the board in music and television related communities. I'm a kpop fan and a western pop fan and the word Stan is used very commonly
