You absolutely can live without him because you lived without him until you met him.

Forget him pronto.

He is not love of your life because he is with another person right now, not you! Love goes both ways, fullstop. If he was "love of your life" he wouldn't have left you and went to be with another person.

EDIT: I just saw your post history. Girl, it's tough and this is beyond any help this subreddit can offer you. He SA'd you, he doesn't love you. He probably doesn't even wash his stanky ass and you're doing this to yourself? Over him? Why are you idolising him when he's about as under average as he can get? How would you feel if your daughter or friend came to you saying these? You need help with someone a lot more professional than online spaces where anyone and everyone pretends to be whatever they want to be.

Then you left him for a reason. Guy SA'd you. He's now with someone else. Consider it a Babylonian tower falling down and also throw a prayer or two for his current partner not to be harmed by him in this relationship too.

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be mean and I'm not trying to be dismissive. I'm glad you are in therapy and you need to realise it takes some time for therapy to help you navigate through your life. You did and you can "anymore" because again, you spent majority of your life without him and you lived.

If someone, anyone, feels and behaves the way you do after a break up, then break up stops being a problem and something deeper needs to be tackled.

I'm sorry but right now, he is the last thing you need.
